Last night i had an urge to eat trifle, and partially to finish up the can of whipped cream. After dinner, i made the strawberry and apple aeroplane jelly and custard with difficulty ( master 1 insist on eating the freshly made jelly, liquid form). So after telling him nicely that the jelly needs to be harden first before eating, he just couldn't resist the temptation. I did eventually caught him dipping his finger in the bowl of jelly!
Finally after lunch, thinking to myself that i would add the finishing touch to the desert after dinner, master 1 decided to bug me about the jelly. To keep his mouth zipped up, i decided to go ahead and finish it up.
Here it is ....
Look at the CREAM!!!!
Master 1 is giving it a try

Chinese Steam Egg and Pork
I love eating steam egg and pork at the economy mixed rice stall, but never seem to be able to recreate it until today. Usually i would place the minced pork on the bottom layer, add some seasoning and a little water.I would then add the beaten egg on top to steam. The result came out unsuccessful, pork was hard, but the egg was just right. That was the way i created my steam egg and pork.
So anyway, back to the story, i wanted to try out a different method. Instead of putting the minced pork on the bottom layer, i add it to the egg instead.
Recipe:
*Pre-heat pot of water with steamer rack.
1) Break 2 eggs ( break the top part of the egg so we can use it to fill it up with water)
2) Use the egg shell to measure 4 time of water
3) Beat eggs
4) In a separate bowl, take about 2 tablespoon of minced meat and add a little cornflour.Mix
5)Add some seasoning to the meat( soya sauce, pepper, seasame oil).
6) Mix together the eggs and meat and transfer to stainless steel plate
7)When the water is boiling, lower it to low flame, and add the plate to the pot. Cover and steam for about 10 minutes ( check to see if it wobble, else leave longer to cook)
8) done
Do let me know if you are going to try out this recipe. I may not be able to explain it properly here. :)

Whats for dinner??
My love of Butter Curry Chicken has led me to try out a recipe from a good source. So the day begin when i had to put the kids down for their afternoon nap. When silent was heard, i quickly cut up the chicken and mixed my range of spices together. The recipe asked for me to marinate for at least 30 minutes, just in time when the kid decided to wake up.. gosh, what a quick mouse nap!
So here i go, its going to be in the oven for the next 40 minutes...nice aroma fills the house..
So here i go, its going to be in the oven for the next 40 minutes...nice aroma fills the house..
Result:
I thought i better interview the guinea pigs, ops i mean the diners about my butter chicken
So how do you find the butter curry chicken??
piggy:
"..hmm its nice, but the chicken is a little dry.. its tangy but yet nice... but i still prefer your other butter chicken ....."
master 1:
"wow!, hot mummy, yuck", and spits it out. Both his hands on his mouth. "No mummy, hot", and disappears before attempting to give him another try...
master 2:
chicken went in and out of his mouth in less than a quarter of a second. He takes it out and put the chicken back into his mouth, and out it came.He did this for the next 20 minutes, most of it are on the floor.
chef:
".. its was a little too salty, and tangy. It doesnt taste like Butter Chicken or tandoori, quite disappointing...."
Ahh too bad, we wont be trying Maggi no added MSG tandoori chicken mix again..

My Two Masters
Its past 11pm, and i managed to sneak in some time to do some blogging before i start my pathetic beauty sleep. What can i say, they are my two mischievous little monsters, ops i mean masters. People would say, "who's your favourites?","Are their characters similar?", "who does master 1 and master 2 look like?"..
Well, i must admit it, the day master 2 came to this chaotic world, i didnt really looked after him as much as master 1. I had a maid who looked after him like her own son.We never really took him out to the shops or restaurant, partially because i wanted to enjoy myself without worrying. Yes, i feel guilty for not looking after my own son, but when you have master 1, he tends to take up all of my energy. Thank you W for helping me raise master 2. So when master 2 started to grow out from his shell and becoming a little person, W was the one who first discover his milestone, and i was not there to witness. I was either on the computer or entertaining master 1. Sorry master 2, but i've now taken the opportunity to get to know you as a person, and gosh, you are quite a funny little fella.
So to answer the question,"Who is my favourites?", I love them equally, both are my favourites. Why?? Master 1, i can order him around, since i dont have any adult assistance( when piggy is off to work), so Master 1 tend to be handy at times,"Master 1, can you please put this in the sink", "master 1, can you please bring the rag and wipe it up", "master 1, please bring the towel", basically he's my mini servant, im bad, but he seem to like it.But i can guarantee that this is not the reason why he's my favourite..shh
As for master 2, he's cool. When he's hungry, he will cry, otherwise he will happily hang out in his play pen, provided that his brother doesnt disturb him. Another amazing thing is his business. Yes, what a topic to talk about, but this little boy, he is amazing. If we were to go out, he will poo before we leave the house. I think he can sense that mummy is not willing to clean his bum if he were to poo outside, so he better do it otherwise he'll have to stick with a yucky bum through out the day. Smart boy... Oh another thing is his milk.. when its milk time ( artificially given that is, not the real thing), he will stop at what he's doing and start smiling ecstatically, shrieking with joy. With his little hands sounding like a elephant coming towards me, and turns around and falls back in my lap waiting for the fake breast to feed him, ah he love his milk....
The next question, characters. Well they are both brothers, so some of their characters are similar.hmm let me think of a couple.. ahh the other day i was up in my room watching my ridiculous local channel ( astro died, in the fixing mode), both master 1 and master 2 were busy looking for treasure. Suddenly master 1 said " mummy, mummy, baby eating".Then to my horror, master 2 found a tub of sudocrem ( nappy cream) and started eating it. I was horrified, and being disappointed and yet amazed i grabbed a tissue to wipe away his fist full of nappy cream and took out my phone, not to call piggy, but to record his face. I laughed to myself, and told Master 1,"did you know that you did that last time??" now i call that brother in arms .Another same character is their love of dogs. I remember when master 1 was the same age as master 2, they ( as in the dog and baby dealer)would exchange toys. You could see master 1 secretly giving our beloved dog, Man, a ball in exchange of another ball. Seriously, both of them were in love with balls, both cant keep their eyes off it. But for master 2 case, its not quite the ball case, its more like whatever he can find on hand and pass it to our new dog, Pluto. Things like the clothes peg, and master 1's magna doddle magnet haha ... and in exchange, master 2's little hand reaches outside to grab whatever pluto has eaten up ( which is the case of a broken slippers).Im sure there are more, but cant think of any at the moment.Ah i remembered one, both are willing to play independently ( according to SF)
Master 1, cream on his face
master 2 with cream on his face
Ah their differences, I guess master 1 never really had an older sibling so he couldnt really throw tantrum at young age compared to master 2. But mind me, he did show his tantrum at a young age (15 months). I guess its normal for master 1 to show his selfishness or sadness toward his brother. When master 1's things are taken away by master 2, he would 1)slap his brother 2) push him 3)scream 4)walk away with his head down, hunching and started to make this really annoying fake crying noise, which he apparently learnt that from watching CJ7.
Now with master 2, when he wants something, he wants it. He, at such an early age, had to learn the art of defending himself from his beloved brother. When something is taken from him, he made sure he show his colour by slapping himself on the head ( god knows why he does that), and slapping his hand on the table/floor/thigh. Ohh he's a good screamer too.. he scream so loud that your ear buzz differently ( you know what i mean, when you're at the concert, and girls from behind are basically screaming in your ear, all you can hear is buzzzzz, that kind of scream)
Finally the last question before my eyes decided to close by themselves.Who do they look like? Well i think master 1 looks more like me, whereas master 2 reminds me more of my sister when she was younger, especially his ears haha ( sorry s), but i think he's more on piggy 's feature..You'll be the judge .....
But as a mother, i can see that both of them deep down love each other, especially when there's no one to entertain them, eg mummy. They would happily chase each other, laughing, shrieking, turning the house upside down or master 2 doing the attack by scretly opening master 1's shirt to blow on his tummy. But then again, out of the blue, master 1 turns around and smack his brother on the head... I guess you call this a love hate relationship....
Another important note to mention, they drive me up the wall, especially when things are not going their ways or when everything is upside down. I guess all mothers has the same problems...ahh but when they are sleeping, like right now, all i can hear is my typing ,the aircon's compressor, and yah the bloody gecko calling....
Master 1 and Master 2 helping each other
Master 2 at 3 months, brother love...
"The Sound of Music", have you heard of it?
This is a misleading title, i should name it "The sound of Crying".Every parents go through the wonderful sound of crying. I have learnt the art of blocking, so writing this blog will be interesting.
It all started when it was time for the masters' nap. Master 2 was getting a little cranky, since he woke up late today, nap time was upside down for him. So i took master 2 and his brother to their napping room, and master 2 started crying away. I didnt want to give in to breastfeeding him( thats the only way for him to doze to zzz land), so i left him to cry. It was then i got inspired to write. I listen to him cried. He had so many variations of sound in his music, at least 8 to 9.
1) engine of the car unable to start
2)scream
3) grizzling like a bear
4) shriek
5)wailing
6)up n down intonation
7)puppy crying
8)bee gee "ah a ah ah staying alive" tone
9)cub roaring
after 20 minutes of crying, master 2 decided to sit up, then kneel down, then decided to do the head down bum in the air pose, and doing this crying. Then all of a sudden, the thunder went off.. master 2 paused to ponder, then he continued crying. He did this for a couple of time before i decided that i had enough...I surrender. All theses while, master 1 was next to me snoring, he too learnt the art of blocking out. The addiction kept master 2 quiet. You could hear master 2 sucking away and yet, trying to control his after effect of crying too much, like a sound of a pig snorting, and sound of shivering. Well, now i have the sound of silent, in about 30 minutes time, i will be able to hear the sound of master 2's crying.Oh no, the silent has been broken, master 1 is up, just as master 2 is down.

Sunday family day out
It seem that Sunday is the only day in the weekend that the family can spend some time together. For the past few weeks, Piggy was working on Saturday and public holidays.Well anyway, we had something planned on Sunday, to visit the KL Photo Festival at Berjaya Time Square. Ahh.. Berjaya Time Square, the last i was there was 5 years ago and permed my hair in one of the hairdresser.haha hmmm very curly hair ..
Back on track, on Saturday night, we planned to leave the house after piggy's bike ride, but the rest of the family woke up a little too late, especially master 2.(came back VERY early in the morning hahaha). I had to quickly prepare master 2's milk and snacks, nappies etc and had to feed master 1 at the same time.Oh at the same time, it was a very sunny day and thought i better take the opportunity to wash the quilt and the new bedsheets. I never thought that the bachelor washing machine could only take 2 pillow cases and one queen size quilt.Ahem i had a basket of the kids clothes and the rest of the new sheets behind me.. shaking my head, i continued to run around headless preparing for the day trip. When the first load of washing was finish, i added the 2nd... again, i couldn't put all the washing in.. had to do the 3rd load later .I'm afraid the poor little washing machine will die on me.. Finally master 2 was up and i quickly fed him, now waiting for him to do his morning business..but nothing yet.. so in the rush of everything, i didnt even had the chance to have my breakfast, i was craving for roti telur ( indian pancake with eggs).
Checking of the windows and doors, making sure they were all locked, master 1 being helpful by taking out our shoes. With each kid in each hand, piggy placed the 2 little masters in their car seats (master 2 still hasnt done his business, worried and prayed that he wouldnt do it outside) and i was busy taking the laundry in.After all the running around, we were finally making our way out, then suddenly something strike me, the headless mother forgotten to pack master 2's milk bottles!!!Off we go, back home again ...
We finally arrived at Berjaya Time Square, after having my roti telur, the headless mother is finally calmed and relaxed, to only realise that she has ... forgotten to take master 2's hot water.. ahem..
Berjaya Time Square was huge, didnt know where to begin, we were lost. After spending a good 20 minutes looking for the location of the photo festival, we finally found a group of photographers snapping away..all you could see are flashes everywhere. I could tell that piggy had a big smile on his face. There was booths selling Canon, Nikon, the names goes on. I was only noticing the crowd of photographers, men who wore glasses, some were balding, some were thin some were fat, but most of them looked geeky. The female photographers are quite OK looking, not too many nicer looking male photographer though. But i have to agree with piggy that behind the geek's camera, the photographs they produce are marvelous.
Master 1 and Master 2 are enjoying their free helium balloon from U mobile, unfortunately master 1 decided to take the string off his hand and the orange U mobile balloon went up up up and away..
After walking around admiring people and cameras, hoping not to be caught in someone's camera, Master 2 decided that all the flashes is making him sleepy.. so he quietly slept behind piggy's back, and surprising Master 1 was also asleep in the stroller. So taking the great opportunity, we decided to have our dinner with the kids sleeping peacefully. But our opportunity soon end when master 2 decided to join us for dinner, but lucky master 1 is still snoring away...
Snoring away
decided to join us after we sat down to have dinner
the little kimono boy drank his milk without lifting his bottle.. interesting..
Finally after 3 or was it 4 hours of dragging our feet ( ahh i wonder why my legs and head was tired) we decided to head to our next venue, Subang Parade. Had to return piggy's hands free headset, more walking to do.Master 2 was apparently quite fresh. He was munching on his cheerios and screaming his lung out for no apparently reason. Poor shop assistance, he almost went deaf when master 2 shriek in his ear haha. On the other hand, Master 1 was tugging and shouting "mummy, mummy, donut, donut", so we took a small walk over big apple, and bought one pink donut for him and another one for the father. After paying for the donuts, master 1 said, "good job mummy, good job".He seem to enjoy saying that when he gets his way with things, and praise me for actually doing it for him. After piggy has finally returned his dream headset( couldnt receive and make outgoing calls), we walked around Subang Parade before heading to do our more walking (more like feet dragging) to Carrefour for our weekly grocery shopping and it was already 9pm.
After a very long family day, we finally settle down, making way for sleep time. Master 2 has finally done his business....

SF's homemade pizza
It was another boring day for me with the kids, Piggy had to go in to work on Saturday. Suddenly my mobile phone was ringing, it was SF. She invited us over for a homemade pizza. I thought GREAT, something to look forward to, so i quickly told piggy," we're having pizza at the SF's household, so you better come home early or else....". Finally a day, i mean a night out of the house, thanks to SF.
As usual, we were running a little way too late, you know kids tends to delay our initial plan ( haha another excuse to blame them, but its the truth most of the time), so instead of arriving at 7 pm we were there almost 8pm( sorry i tried to get piggy to speed a bit.. i know we shouldnt be speeding)
Finally arrived at SF's place, but didnt know which street, so we went took the chance to visit every street in that area, and we're super late. I did remember that they lived near a weird tiled house that someone once said looked like a temple.. so we were driving really slow ( so slow that a neighbourhood kid actually walked faster then we moved). After a good 10 minutes, we finally decided to give her a call..," eh, what is the number of your street".
Ohh the house was filled with the smell of Italy....i mean smell of pizza yummy, my tummy rummy ( it rhymed hahaha) was really hungry but too shy to voice it out. So finally after the aroma of the pizza was making me saliva, SF asked what would we like to drink and open the cupboard to show us the collection. I was a little phobia from the other week, but knowing that they might not have my favourite liquor, i said, "erm if its a must, then how about midori, cos i dont do wine", and guess what, they actually have it.. half bottle... so no way out for me ( and piggy). So they suggested that the midori will be mixed with lemonade ( which turn out to be actually lemon juice and straight midori).I took my first sip and i was already feeling funny..having flash back, getting worried, so taking a slow sip and gobbling it down with the pizza. Before i could take my 2nd sip, SF and her hubby almost finish their drink. Seeing that i was stuggling, she pass me a cup of water to help ease it off. When no one was looking, i quickly added some water to my drink.. ah more like it.. easier to drink..poor piggy he looked redder than a cooked lobster.. we're hopelessly useless in drinking haha
It was a nice night, 2 couples talking and struggling to hear each other about kids, and possible life oversea. You could hear the mothers screaming and scolding at the kids, "dont do that, share with your brother, stop fighting", and the fathers?well they're busy sharing work info, b****ing about their bosses, and persuasion of a better opportunities elsewhere.
Oh the kids, lets say they need to learn the art of compromising, controlling their vocals and cleanliness. Poor Sf's living room looked like a mini hurricane of toys created by the 4 little offspring.
It was getting late, but piggy wanted to catch the replay of Amazing Race Asia. Astro left us for 1 week( due to lightening strike)and poor piggy didnt have his chance to watch his sport tonight update and Amazing Race Asia. It didnt really bother me much because most of the time i'll be watching hi 5, or the wiggles, and i can even remember all of their lyrics!!!
After a long journey home, it was already Sunday, and we're still not in bed!

What is a Blog..?
According to wikipedia, a blog is simply "..maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries.",....blah blah ..hmm interesting, basically a online diary for everyone to read??
I remember those days when i used to have a "Dear Diary" book... hmm i wonder where it is.. all the juicy secrets ..gosh... somewhere down under.
Ok, what made me decided to start a blog??hmm well influence from Piggy. He suggested that i should start one, since he mention that its an opportunity to share my love of photography to the world, and a place to release my frustration ( which i tend to release it to my dear cousin who i always meet up on MSN.. hehe sorry F !!!!)
So to protect my identity and the people i know.. i shall only use their first initial or pet name. So lets begin the journey of SAHM( for those who dont know what it is, "Stay at home mum")
Got to go ... be right back... master 2 is calling, i mean screaming for milk......and i haven't had the chance to finish my lunch and its already 3pm..sigh
Ok I'm back, master 2 is full and satisfied from his beloved milk.. peace and quiet at last.He surely completed his satisfaction by giving me a big fart and swaying to the wiggles... haha oh boy....
Well i shall finish up my "dear diary" soon.. need to get back to work and prepare dinner for the kids. Lucky for me i dont have to prepare dinner for the grown ups, our beloved SF and her hubby invited us over for HOME MADE pizza.. yummy...

Well i shall finish up my "dear diary" soon.. need to get back to work and prepare dinner for the kids. Lucky for me i dont have to prepare dinner for the grown ups, our beloved SF and her hubby invited us over for HOME MADE pizza.. yummy...
